Wild gardener grows a native crops nursery

ORONO, Maine – A new indigenous vegetation nursery enterprise has grown at Bas Rouge Farm & Forge in Orono. Promoting hand tended, sustainably developed and harvested Maine and Eastern U.S. native crops at offsite markets, such as at the Orono Farmers Marketplace starting on Saturday, May well 28.

Why pick out native vegetation? Native vegetation are hardy perennials which prosper under the weather conditions, soil and normal increasing problems identified in the fast setting of our gardens and farms.
