Waterfront Botanical Gardens transformed into a winter wonderland with Gardens Aglimmer | Morning

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Waterfront Botanical Gardens comes to everyday living with a dazzling screen of sparkling lights and getaway new music.

WDRB’s Keith Kaiser got a glance at the 3rd Once-a-year “Gardens Aglimmer”.

Gardens Aglimmer proceeds on pick evenings in December.

Family members can love a self-guided tour and a glowing winter season wonderland with oversized illuminated flowers, Moravian stars, swans and deer, a multicolor tunnel of lights, icicle arches more than the Beargrass Creek Pathway and a waterfall stream aglow.

Gardens Aglimmer is a relatives-helpful event that features many palms-on functions for kids.

Young children can generate and send out letters to The North Pole, make snowflake wands and make handprint holly ornaments.

Very hot beverages and cookies will be accessible for order from Khalil’s in the Jingle All the Way Cafe.

Santa in his sleigh and Mrs. Claus in her cottage will also make appearances in between 12/2 – 12/23.

Exprience Gardens Aglimmer on December 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30… 5:45-9pm every single evening.
