Minor FALLS — A course on putting in and keeping a prairie yard will be 10 a.m.-midday June 25 at the Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum, 2151 Lindbergh Push S., in Little Falls.
Teacher Ben Wooden will use the museum’s backyard garden as an illustration of how to care for and regulate a indigenous landscape. Established in 1977, not extended following the museum was constructed, the prairie’s current burn up will serve as an illustration of schedule servicing and the ins and outs of prairie back garden treatment.
This course is sponsored by Rethos: Locations Reimagined and the Morrison County Historic Modern society, its central Minnesota schooling coordinator. The software was financed in section by the state of Minnesota from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund through the Minnesota Historic Society and by the Franciscan Sisters of Minor Falls Just one World Fund.
