New Northside neighborhood backyard garden in collaboration with the Milwaukee Fireplace Section


MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — On Friday, April 15, group leader and founder of the “We Obtained This” group backyard garden Andre Lee Ellis kicked off one more neighborhood backyard, this time in collaboration with the Milwaukee Hearth Office.

The celebration was supported by lots of Milwaukee Leaders like Mayor Cavalier Johnson, County Executive David Crowley and Point out Senator Lena Taylor.

“City gardening, city agriculture is the way of the potential as it relates to work as it relates to therapeutic, as it relates to wellness,” reported Ellis.

It all commenced when Hearth Main Aaron Lipski approached Ellis with the strategy to use a 20,000 square foot plot of vacant land suitable following to the fire household to good use.
