Monty Don: Gardening expert’s warning towards propagating invasive bluebell range


English bluebells flower in April and Might, can be sown in June and planted in June, September and October.

Bluebells are effective for bees, birds, butterflies and other pollinators.

Monty shared his tips soon after viewers have been demonstrated fellow Gardeners’ Globe viewer Yasu’s extraordinary “Petit English Garden” in Itoshima, Japan.

Yasu started the back garden because a mate of his, who life in the United kingdom and loves bluebells, instructed him about how wonderful the plant appears to be like when it carpets the forest flooring.
