COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Mid-Ohio farm in Columbus’ Hilltop is planning to expand this summer.
The farm is building three new greenhouses that will aspect hydroponics and local climate manage capabilities, together with a new 12,000 sq. foot constructing that will serve as a farmer’s market place for the group.
“Not only will it be an onsite farmer’s market place, but we’ll also be in a position to make the most of it for training abilities, that we can do functioning labs when we bring subject visits or learners here,” said Bo McMahon, senior farm manager for Mid-Ohio Food Collective.
The project is envisioned to split floor this June and end before the conclude of the 12 months.
