Lee Township clerk addresses opinions made at March board meeting

Lee Township Clerk Laura Dawson is describing xenophobic reviews she made throughout a March 14 board conference.

Through the conference, which was recorded and uploaded to YouTube by an audience member, Dawson cautioned citizens about selling their residences to people today who aren’t “from in this article.” Dawson reported to board members, and the audience, that males from Cuba were being driving by way of the township hunting at properties to purchase.

She was producing residents conscious of this, Dawson explained on the movie, owing to her worries that men and women from “outside of the country” are making an attempt to invest in residences in Midland County with the intention of expanding marijuana on the property.
