(KNSI) – Tiffany Kobbermann, a Family members and Consumer Science teacher at Minnewaska Substantial Faculty in Glenwood has been given the Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom 2022 Trainer of the Calendar year award.
According to a push release, Kobbermann will get a $500 stipend and up to $1500 in expenses to go to the 2022 Countrywide Agriculture in the Classroom Meeting in Saratoga Springs, New York.
In her application, Klobbermann wrote “I think that college students need a effectively-rounded viewpoint of agriculture. My hope is that my pupils will share the optimistic items they discover with their mates and people and the circle of finding out will keep on to increase.”
The MAITC also announced the recipients of the 2022 Agricultural Literacy Grants.
South Junior Large Faculty in St. Cloud will acquire a grant for the Farm Camp Discipline Day Tour.
The grants are made to help fingers-on actions with bees, chickens, dairy, hydroponics, and other agriculture-related projects.
