I-75 SB shuts down around Miami Gardens Travel


MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol shut Interstate 75′s southbound lanes on Friday close to Miami Gardens Drive in Miami-Dade County.

A tractor-trailer truck and a tiny box truck had been at the scene. Miami-Dade and Hialeah Fire Rescue staff responded.

“A pedestrian (adult Hispanic male) (target) walked on to the roadway and was struck by an oncoming industrial landscaping truck,” FHP Lt. A. Camacho wrote.

Air Rescue North airlifted an grownup to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Middle, according to Miami-Dade Hearth Rescue.

The alternate route is Northwest 57th Avenue.
