BARNSTABLE – The Learn Gardener Affiliation is featuring a digital Spring Symposia on good gardening methods forward of the Spring planting time.
Collection attendees will understand how to attract pollinators, increase edible crops to their repertoire, and lower the weather impacts of their gardens.
The to start with session on February 5, “Designing with Plenty for Pollinators” will function a lesson on attracting pollinators with backyard garden mentor Karen Bussolini.
A 7 days later on February 12, environmental horticulturist Kim Eierman will exhibit plant decisions and gardening tactics to enable lower unfavorable climate impacts in “Gardening Procedures for the Climate Crisis”.
The third and final session, “Eat Your Yard” on March 12 will dive into edible plant gardening with yard historian and gradual food biodiversity advocate John Forti.
The Master Gardener Plan is a collaborative energy by neighborhood volunteers and the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension to supply horticultural schooling to Cape Cod people.
