Grasp Gardeners Return to Stafford Library

After a two-12 months hiatus thanks to the pandemic, the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Ocean County Grasp Gardeners deliver their system to the Stafford department of the Ocean County Library in Manahawkin on Monday, April 25, commencing at 10 a.m.

The gardener staff will be offered to solution any questions you might have. Carry in your dying or diseased cuttings for analysis and  remedies.

The learn gardeners will be generating standard monthly visits at the branch as a result of the fall. At some of the classes, the gardeners will carry together a visitor speaker.

Master gardeners are properly trained by the extension company. Once they entire their instruction, they enable the support better serve the dwelling gardening public by answering inquiries and speaking to teams. The gardeners are ready and capable to teach people and groups in gardening matters these as plant selection, composting, soil improvement, pest handle, vegetable and flower gardening, pruning and extra.

In addition, the master gardeners have prepared a “We’re Again in Bloom” plant sale prepared for Saturday, May possibly 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the extension services web-site, at 1623 Whitesville Rd. (Route 527) and Sunset Avenue in Toms River.

Several tables will have specialty annuals, perennials, herbs, tomatoes, greens and shrubs.
