KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Families in the Kanawha Valley are speaking out after they acquired the bouquets they placed for their deceased beloved ones had been taken out from their tombstones.
“On November 9 we took my mother and father, mom-in-law and father-in-law’s flowers up. We went back a 7 days afterwards, and they were being gone,” Dianna and Tom Environmentally friendly explained. “Memorial Gardens claimed it was a cleanup course of action, but you never choose off new bouquets and they weren’t on the floor. They have been in their vases on the tombstones.”
The Greens are 1 of numerous family members that WSAZ spoke with about Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens cemetery in Glasgow. People say it was a issue of times that their fresh new flowers ended up eradicated and vases were turned upside down.
“I brought my son up below to see his (grandmother) for Thanksgiving because he’s actually close to (her), and (we came) up here and all the vases experienced been flipped upside down (with) all the flowers out of the vases,” Frankie Yeager informed WSAZ. “We are fed up with this graveyard. My mother will be useless three several years the 29th of this month, and I should not have to rejoice it like this and bring my kids up below, and they have to flip vases.”
Yeager gave WSAZ online video she took whilst in the cemetery, which reveals vases out of put at gravesites.
“There’s been vases damaged up here, headstones busted up here, trash, cigarettes butts, beer bottles, just all the things,” she said. “I wouldn’t bury my hen in this graveyard. At any time because StoneMor (Partners) took it about, it’s been pathetic.”
