E. L. Crossley Secondary Faculty can take beauty honours |

The Pelham Beautification Committee has acknowledged E. L. Crossley Secondary School for its beautification initiatives in two plans —Green Industries and Visual Arts.

Aaron Belding, Green Industries teacher and his course of Grade 11 and 12 pupils took on the assignment of beautifying the southwest corner of the new turf industry at the Freeway 20 campus. What was as soon as a barren corner of grass, weeds and overgrown shrubs is now a visually beautiful, substantial garden with a retaining wall and various perennial vegetation, such as Yarrow, Black Eye Susan, Ferns, Thyme and Cone Flower.
