Club passport provides gardening special discounts


MATTAPOISETT — With gardening period approaching, the Mattapoisett Woman’s Club is offering a passport booklet, “Pathway to Planting,’’ which will supply special discounts at garden-related retailers for passport holders. A handful of of the stores also offer you discounts on flower preparations.

The $10 passport gives savings at: Normally in Bloom Flower & Reward Shoppe in Marion, Crystal Lake Garden Shop in Plymouth and Carver, Eden Florist & Backyard Store in Marion, Good Scapes Nursery in Mattapoisett, Lawrence Relatives Greenhouses in New Bedford, Nessralla’s Farm and Greenhouses in Wareham, Roseland Nursery in Acushnet, Williams’ Trading Article in Middleboro and TomCat Daylily Farm in Mattapoisett for July only.

Most of the retailers will honor discounts from May perhaps 12-22, but there are a pair of exceptions. See the passport for facts.

Proceeds provide funding for scholarships awarded every year to Mattapoisett college students, with two scholarships for graduating seniors and a person for continuing education and learning.
