Dimapur, April 28 (MExN): As a aspect of ongoing campaign on Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikta Hamari Campaign underneath Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH), Nagaland arranged a webinar on ‘awareness programme on improved output technologies of substantial price & exotic vegetable crops less than protected cultivation’ on April 28.
A push launch from the CIH stated that the webinar covered systems similar to shielded cultivation of higher value vegetables and hydroponics for modest and marginal farmersto develop awareness on output technological innovation and the prospective customers of cultivating exotic and high price greens under shielded cultivation.
Dr Naveen Patle, Further Commissioner, DA&FW and Director in-demand, CIH,in his introductory remark welcomed all the members and resource persons to the programme, he also highlighted on the pursuits of CIH and pressured on the value and opportunity of cultivation of higher worth crops underneath guarded cultivation in NER. The invited resource folks have been Dr Anand Zambre, Executive Director NCPAH and Dr. Praveen Singh, Hydroponics Skilled, The Khedibadi Wala.
Dr Anand Zambre, sent presentation on Vegetable Manufacturing Technological know-how under Guarded Cultivation with particular reference to North-Jap Location, and Dr Praveen Singh delivered his presentation on Output Technologies of Exotic vegetables as a result of Hydroponics.
A whole of about 450 contributors comprising of farmers led by point out horticulture officers, KVK extension functionaries, SHGs, FPOs and business people from all Northeast states participated and nearly interacted with the professional.
