Busch Gardens To Open Up Christmas City Early, Incorporating Fireworks

Christmas is coming early to Busch Gardens. The Tampa concept park introduced its once-a-year Xmas City event is returning Nov. 13 with a new fireworks present.

The concept park decks the halls of its palm trees and roller coasters with hundreds of lights for the function, which is included with park admission. There is also a place for Santa, the cast of Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer, a sing-along vacation practice and an ice display at the Moroccan Palace.

Also new this year is a tale time with Mrs. Claus and a “Holiday in the Sky” firework exhibit.

Busch Gardens’ longest jogging vacation exhibit, “Christmas on Ice,” returns to the Moroccan Palace Theater. And for the youngsters, “Elmo’s Christmas Wish” functions Cookie Monster, Rosita, Grover and Zoe as they support Elmo locate his Xmas desire.

Also returning is 3 Kings Journey, the musical tale of the famed journey to Bethlehem at the Stanleyville Theater.
