Authorities look for for driver in Bell Gardens hit-and-run


Bell Gardens law enforcement are asking for the public’s enable locating the driver of a car or truck that hit a girl early Saturday early morning and then fled the scene.

The crash transpired all-around 1:45 a.m. in front of 6308 Eastern Ave. in Bell Gardens.

Police arrived on scene and discovered a female who was bleeding from her head. Before she was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, she told law enforcement she was strike by what appeared to be a white SUV.

Investigators situated surveillance footage from the street where the girl was hit which showed she was strolling from the sidewalk to the driver’s aspect door of her parked automobile. As she tried to open up the doorway to her car or truck, she was clipped by an oncoming vehicle which also crashed into her car or truck and a next parked motor vehicle.

The car then fled northbound on Eastern Avenue, police mentioned. Police stated the motor vehicle appears to be a white pickup truck with a “makeshift picket bed.”
